Guns Of Boom Reaches 5 Million Downloads

Despite bring just released worldwide on May 18, Guns of Boom has already reached 5 million downloads and made its revenue up to $1 million. With the free-to-play gameplay, this first-person shooter had achieved two million downloads during its soft launch in 2016. After that,  the game made a staggerer when it’s officially  rolled out on the iOS App Store, Google Play and Amazon App Store.

Developed by Lithuania-based studio Game Insight, the team-based shooter features cartoon-like graphics realizes that many players choose deathmatches similar to the mode on Team Fortress 2 or Overwatch. However, unlike the mode on those games, Guns of Boom provides the auto- aim and auto-fire features to improve the lack of accuracy in the mobile touch screens over the traditional mouse or controller-based movement.

There are also some upgrades with new weapon and a new map that was released several weeks ago, as well as the appearance of all-new mode titled “Capture the Points”.

According to a statement of Anatoly Ropotov, CEO of Game Insight, because of the commercial successes of Guns of Boom in such a short time, it showed out the demands that the classic game genres must have on mobile. He also added that with this game, they re-conceived every aspect of the first-person shooter genre, from controls to competition. Furthermore, the most important thing was that players have rewarded these efforts.
