After a long wait, the Xiaomi Mi 6 is finally going to be officially introduced. The company just confirmed the announcement company on its Weibo a few hours ago. Along with the announcement, some other leaks also says about the pricing info for both the Mi 6 as well as the Mi 6 Plus.
Now, if the leaks become true, the Xiaomi Mi 6 will be packed 4GB of RAM, with two storage variants: 64GB and 128GB storage options. Those two variants of the Mi 6 will be priced at 2,199 Yuan ($318) and 2,599 Yuan ($376). On the other hand, the Xiaomi Mi 6 Plus will be slightly more expensive. The Mi 6 Plus will come with three storage variants: 64GB, 128GB and 256GB, and all of them will have 6GB of RAM. Those three variants s will cost in turn 2,599 Yuan ($390), 3,099 Yuan ($448), and 3,699 Yuan ($535).
According to previous rumors, the Xiaomi Mi 6 is expected to feature a 5.15-inch FullHD display, while the Xiaomi Mi 6 Plus will flaunt a 5.7-inch FullHD or QHD display. Both devices will run on Android Nougat out of the box, with Xiaomi’s MIUI OS on top, Powering two smartphones will be the Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 64-bit octa-core SoC. Both of them will be made out of metal and glass, according to leaks. The Mi 6 will feature a 12MP primary camera at the back, with 4K video recording support, while on the front is an 8MP selfie camera.
It seems that the price of the Xiaomi Mi 6 will be quite reasonable, though it maybe not as affordable as its predecessor. The Mi 6 will be officially announced in Beijing, and its brother, Mi 6 Plus, will probably be revealed on the same day. Now let’s wait until April 18th to see what Xiaomi’s new flagships will offer.
